Guided 4×4 Self-Drive

Bring your own 4×4 and drive the stunning 4×4 trails on Zevenwacht Wine Estate on this Guided 4×4 Self-Drive, all managed and maintained by All-Terrain 4×4. Guided drives only, with a minimum of 6 vehicles required. Duration of 1 to 6 hours, depending on your sense of adventure.

The All-Terrain 4×4 trails on Zevenwacht Wine Estate offers from easy to moderate to fairly challenging and technical sections of off-road driving. There are 4 different trails, excluding the small sandpit area and our infamous “Skeleton Gorge”.

A general rating of 2 to 3, with a couple of grade 4’s, but these do have bypasses.

A half-way stop at the lapa area will offer you the opportunity to soak in the absolutely beautiful scenes that lies beneath; from Table Mountain all the way around to Paarl Rock. All drives are guided by the team from All-Terrain 4×4, who are the custodians of this trail. Interesting facts on fauna and flora as well as historical events of yesteryear will be shared. Ideal for club outings, but individual bookings are also welcome.

A minimum of 6 vehicles per day are however required. A braai facility is available at the lapa, but NO OPEN FIRES are allowed – charcoal only. This is also weather dependent. Pets are welcome, but PLEASE NOTE the abundance of ticks and snakes.

Certain sections of the trail requires vehicles with differential locks or traction control, but the really technical sections all do have bypasses. Some sections are “soft off-roader” friendly. Duration of 1 to 6 hours. Start time 09:30 for 10:00 departure.

Dates are pre-determined and advertised on social media. Bookings are essential. NO unguided drives are allowed on the farm. Price is per vehicle.
