BUCKLE UP!

“But why a seatbelt when not in traffic? It is so uncomfortable and it’s restricting me to see where I’m going! Surely nothing can go wrong at crawl speed?!” These, and many more, are just some of the questions and/or excuses used by some people ….. not only at our track, but at most, if not all, other off-road facilities. There really should be no excuse. Fun can (and should) be safe!! There are of course exceptions. The most common exception would be when one drives on the edge of water (like on a dam wall), or through water. In these instances you would want to get out of the vehicle as quickly as possible when things go wrong, and therefore not wearing a seatbelt will assist in this regard. Happy, safe off-roading!!!
